St. Agnes Altar Guild

Description:  This is a group of dedicated Altar Guild members, who are guided by tradition, maintin the same aims and goals for each year and serve at the pleasure of the Priest.

Responsiblilties: clean the Sanctuary and Chapel; set communion for all services on Sundays and special Holy Days; order and arrange flowers; keep candles ready to light; launder and iron linens; keep Priest's robes readied; assist at special services such as baptisms, weddings and funerals; deliver flowers to shut-ins and those who are sick or infirm; purchase wine, wafers, and linens; assist the Priest in all manner required

Goals:  to continue the ministry to the Glory of God, our Church and its congregants

St. Martha's Guild

Description: Kitchen Guild

Responsibilities:  purchase kitchen supplies; assist at Church functions; custodians of kitchen

Goals:  continue the ministry; increase membership; increase activities

8 and 10 a.m. Lectors

Description:  folks who feel as one of their missions they wish to read the Word of the Lord during Sunday Services

Responsibilities:  to be available to read the Word of the Lord during regular Sunday Services and special services (although guest readers are encouraged, during special services, too)

Goals: to spread the Word of the Lord through weekly Lector reading
